Crazy State Laws
Photographers, buffalo hunters and filthy people, take note: Depending on what state you live in, you may be violating the law when you practice your favorite hobby or hygiene habit. Every state has different laws, and you never know when you might find yourself at odds with a rule you could have never anticipated. In Wyoming, for example, laws state that if you want to take a picture of an adorable bunny rabbit in wintertime, you need to get a permit first. Then in Texas, otherwise known for its loose gun laws, be sure that when you’re shooting your buffalo quota for the year, you aren’t doing it from the second story of a hotel. And know that everyone has to take a shower once a year in Kentucky– but beware, because if you travel to California for your annual cleaning, don’t eat an orange while in the tub or you risk running afoul of the law. Check out these and other zany state laws– and don’t forget, if you take your dog for a walk in Mississippi, make sure to put its diaper on securely!
