This year 50,000 pedestrians will be involved in traffic accidents, and of those, 4,000 could die, according to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA). If you are hit by a commercial vehicle, both the company and the driver can be liable.

The most dangerous city for pedestrians is Orlando, FL, according to a report by the Transportation for America showed. We talked to attorney William Umansky about what your legal options if you’re injured when you are on foot and are hit by a car.
