As reported in Lawyers.com some employers including a Hobby Lobby and the owners of an Illinois construction firm, Korte & Luitjohan Construction are defying the federal healthcare mandate (Obamacare) citing religious beliefs. Lawsuits are challenging the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act’s requirement that for-profit companies offer employees healthcare coverage for contraception and other methods of birth control.
