Arkansas Hits Bob-Haired Teachers in the Pocketbook
It never hurts to crack open the state lawbook every now and again to make sure your civil code has the latest look. Otherwise, you could end up like Arkansas, where schoolteachers who bob their hair may forfeit their pay raises.
Do we really need a law against something so last season?
At one time, the bob was all the rage among TV vixens and UK rockers alike — clearly a major distraction from the educational experience, and reason enough to force underpaid teachers to fall even farther behind the Joneses.
But it’s 2013. We need a law against the bob like we need a law against “The Rachel.”
If you don’t do something about this soon, Arkansas, people may stop associating you with cutting edge fashion.
What’s a more contemporary style that Arkansas could prohibit its educators from sporting? Give them some suggestions in the comments section below.
