A parenting plan is an agreement between parents who are divorcing, divorced or who have never been married.  The parenting plan takes into account arrangements such as who has the children on which days, major decisions about the children’s health, education and other legal considerations regarding the daily care and upbringing of their children.  A timesharing schedule (visitation) where each parent is granted reasonable frequent time that sets the number of overnights or weekends the child will spend with each parent as well as schedules for pickup and drop off, vacations, summers, school activities and so on.  The court is concerned with the best interest of the child.  The court must approve a parenting plan – if not one created by your mutual agreement then one imposed by the judge.  Please call our office at (813) 879-4600 to set up a consultation to discuss your individual case to assist you and your family’s best interests.
