A California truck accident
recently closed the eastbound 118 Freeway in Granada Hills, California,
near Los Angeles. The car-truck accident occurred shortly after 5 a.m.
west of Woodley Avenue. According to California Highway Patrol Officer
Francisco Villalobos, officers shut down all eastbound lanes until 5:43
a.m.

At that time, the carpool lane was opened for through traffic. Over
the next 1 1/2 hours, officers gradually allowed traffic in the
