Kate Stafford

Kate Stafford is a veteran broadcast producer and writer/editor.  Her first documentary "Our Vanishing Resources" took a serious look at the environmental harm caused by clear cutting and strip mining in forest regions in California and Oregon.  Stafford helped produce and write the documentary that went on to win 1st place in the environmental category for the Western Region in educational television. 

Stafford worked at a variety of radio and television stations in Northern and Central California as a licensed television/radio engineer, reporter/anchor. 

Stafford has also spent time in the business arena.  She has operated as a series 7 broker and certified financial planner, which she has parlayed into real estate and chief financial officer for Walter Media Inc. 

Walter Media recently won 3 Tellys, two of which Stafford produced and then was associate producer for the 3rd.  She is an integral part of Walter Media as a producer, writer, production coordinator, talent and partner.
