Prince Hit With $4M in a Stink over Perfume

A New York trial judge ordered Prince to pay nearly $4 million to Revelations Perfume and Cosmetics because the singer failed to promote the company’s 3121 fragrance. Prince released an album title 3121 that hit No. 1 in the Billboard 200 rankings. The year was 2006, when Prince agreed to promote the women’s perfume in concerts, TV appearances and store promotions. Opening Arguments Kick Off John Edwards Trial

Two-time presidential candidate John Edwards used nearly $1 million in campaign funds to cover up an extramarital affair and hide his mistress, in violation of campaign finance laws, prosecutors argued in opening statements Monday.
