Arizona authorities must return medical marijuana they seize from authorized patients, according to a decision from the Arizona Supreme Court. Black and white Americans use marijuana at roughly equal rates, but black users are nearly four times more likely to be arrested, according to a report from the American Civil Liberties Union. Vermont Decriminalizes Marijuana

Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin has signed a bill decriminalizing the possession of small amounts of marijuana. By reducing the penalty for getting caught with up to an ounce of marijuana to a civil fine, Vermont became the 17th state to reclassify simple pot possession.
