Drug Compounder Poisons Hundreds with Deadly Fungal Meningitis

As a national public health crisis develops across the country due to an outbreak of fungal meningitis, lawyers in Minnesota have filed a class action against the company that compounded, or mixed, the steroid medication that has sickened 214 and killed 15 people. Bloomberg to Congress: Stop Kowtowing to the Gun Lobby

Mother Loses Custody of Obese Son

In October, authorities removed an 8-year-old boy from his home in Cleveland and placed him in foster care because county officials said the mother was not doing enough to control the child’s weight.
