Fraternity Facing Lawsuit for Alcohol Hazing Death

The family of a Fresno State student who died of alcohol poisoning during a Theta Chi pledge initiation last year has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the fraternity. Horrific School Hazing Allegations Prompt Lawsuit in Illinois

Four students are suing an Illinois school district over hazing accusations at a Des Plaines high school that include reports of victims who were sodomized by their sports teammates. University Grapples With Hazing Death

Florida A&M University’s marching band has been suspended for at least another year as the university grapples with allegations that the band’s violent culture contributed to the hazing death of one student and injuries of others. The band has not practiced since November, when 26-year-old drum major Robert Champion died of internal bleeding after a hazing ritual that left him covered in bruises.
