Jury Awards $1.7M to Victim of Sexual Assault on School Bus

Apparently India isn’t the only place where girls are sexually assaulted on buses. Chicago Cops Leave Woman in Criminal ‘Lion’s Den,’ Pay $22.5M

In the largest police misconduct case in Chicago history, the city will pay $22.5 million to settle a lawsuit by a woman who was raped and fell from a seventh-story window after officers left her in a high-crime area. Youth Soccer League Sued Over Molester Coach

The parents of a girl who was raped by her youth soccer coach when she was 13 are suing the local soccer league and its national umbrella organization for negligence in failing to adequately vet the coach before allowing him access to children. Horrific School Hazing Allegations Prompt Lawsuit in Illinois

Four students are suing an Illinois school district over hazing accusations at a Des Plaines high school that include reports of victims who were sodomized by their sports teammates.
