Rhianna and Chris Brown – Domestic Abuse Victims Likely To Fall Back

Rolling Stone Magazine is reporting that pop superstars Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together.  The couple made headlines when they split after Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna before the 2009 Grammy Awards in a rented Ferrari. Reports indicate that this recoupling has occurred even though Chris Brown is still on probation for the 2009 assault.

Celebrity Divorce Lawyer and Certified Family Law Specialist James Scott says that the first people to reconcile will be the perpetrators and victims of domestic violence. It’s tragically common for victims of domestic violence to maintain relationships with their abusers. Domestic violence victims often refuse to leave a bad relationship, or leave and return to abusive partners. It’s a disturbing pattern of conduct that frustrates and concerns family members, friends, and professionals.

California Law is stiff on abusers. DV laws are strong because of the confidential relationship between lovers.
