Do Not Forget About an Old 401(k) In Estate Planning

I recently wrote an article for Wealth Counsel and its April 2012 newsletter titled "Do Not Forget About an Old 401(k) In Estate Planning."  A person can have their entire estate plan upended if they do not adequately deal with assets in a 401(k) plan.  This can cost the estate many thousands of dollars in fees and unnecessary delay to the money.
