Best Attorneys for West Virginia Truck Accident – DiTrapano Barrett & DiPiero

According to media reports, in May, 2011, a jury awarded $3.75 million in damages to a 75-year-old man seriously injured when a delivery truck ran a stop sign and hit his pickup truck.  A Highway Patrol report said the delivery truck ran through the stop sign and hit the older man’s pickup, which then crashed into a light pole.  The pickup truck driver sustained a concussion, back injury and fractured pelvis and underwent three surgeries.  The delivery truck driver was not injured.  The truck belonged to Interstate Home Services, a contractor for Sears.

The tragedy of truck accidents is that usually the accidents are entirely preventable. West Virginia residents rightly expect big companies and their truck drivers to follow the law. When West Virginia residents are injured or killed by company trucks, the company and its insurance carrier typically refuse to compensate the family of victims adequately, and even try to blame the residents for the accident. West Virginia residents and their families often must find the best lawyers to represent them to make the company or truck driver take responsibility for the truck accident, and get justice and fair compensation.

One Charleston, West Virginia law firm understands truck safety and accidents, and has for over sixty years successfully represented West Virginia residents in injury and death cases, and is available to help, advise and speak with injured West Virginia residents and their families.  Speak with an experienced WV personal injury lawyer who offers free consultations for injured West Virginia residents and their families.
