Pittsburgh Personal Injury Lawyers: 100 Deadliest Days for Teen Drivers

The 100 days of summer between Memorial Day and Labor Day has been dubbed the “100 Deadliest Days” for teen drivers. A study conducted by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety found that the rate of fatal car accidents involving teen drivers increases significantly during summer months.

In the summer, an average of 260 teens are killed in car accidents each month; a 26% increase over teen driver fatalities in other months. Other drivers, passengers, and pedestrians are also at risk. The same study found that 66% of people killed and 67% of people injured in car accidents involving teen drivers are someone other than the teen driver.

If you have been injured in a car accident or lost a loved one in a fatal crash, Pittsburgh personal injury lawyers at the Moyles Law Firm can help you obtain compensation for your injuries or loss if another party is liable for causing your accident.
