Post Vaccination Encephalitis

Encephalitis is inflammation of the brain that can cause permanent brain damage or death. On very rare occasions, a person may experience encephalitis as a vaccine adverse reaction.

If it’s not fatal, post vaccination encephalitis can cause serious and permanent brain damage. Victims of vaccine encephalitis can experience loss of consciousness, seizures and paralysis.

Living with vaccine encephalitis or watching a loved one suffer from this condition can be a physically and emotionally traumatic experience, not to mention an expensive one. Fortunately, the government has set aside the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) to alleviate the financial burden for victims who have suffered this and other rare reactions.

Family members of vaccine encephalitis victims should contact a vaccine injury lawyer to find out if they are eligible to seek compensation under the VICP.
